Behind the Art Work of the Newly Released Michael Jackson Album

Artist Kadir Nelson painted Michael Jackson for the cover of the album “Michael.” The theme for the painting is “royalty & pop” as explained by Nelson. Michael is wearing his birthstones on the crown. [MTV] has the rest of the details from the artist which is quite interesting.

On Monday nite, fans celebrated the release of the album in NYC outside of the Roseland Ballroom, which was filled with dancers & fans. DJ Cassidy hosted the event. Deets at [MTV].
